The monthly Board meeting of K-W Kiwanis will take place at the Westmount Golf Club 50 Inverness Drive, Kitchener. All members and the general public are welcome to attend (but cannot vote). Dinner is available from the club for a fee. Hybrid in-person and online.

The Elmira Kiwanis Club will meet at 5:30pm at the Harvest Moon restaurant in Elmira. Ann Bilodeau, Chief Executive Officer of KW Habilitation will be the speaker.

KW Habilitation has a proud history of supporting people with developmental disabilities, and today, its programs are open to anyone in the Waterloo Regional  community who can benefit from them.

Regular meetings of the K-W Kiwanis Club are held on the third Tuesday of every month. Members, guests, and the general public are welcome to attend. These meetings provide for transaction of business and we socialize, have dinner (available for a fee) and enjoy an outside speaker. Location  this month is 1250 Strasburg Road, Kitchener at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Enter by the door at the back of the building).
    This month's speaker will be: Mary McGuinness, Corporate Engagement Manager, Volunteer Waterloo Region, 1454 King Street East, Unit 3, Kitchener, ON N2G 2N7. [email protected]. Mary joined the team at Volunteer Waterloo Region in the summer of 2023 after serving on the organization's board of directors for nearly a decade prior. Mary brings 15+ years of experience in communication and public relations, in the corporate sector with a focus on social responsibility, community engagement, and employee volunteerism. In her current role, she is
the main contact at VWR for local businesses looking to engage their employees in the community through group volunteering. Tonight's topic will be the value of charities/volunteers to the Waterloo Region community.
