Through its Foundation, K-W Kiwanis owns and maintains two large apartment complexes in the Kitchener-Waterloo region to provide quality living space to qualified tenants. At Cedar Court, Kiwanis recently undertook extensive renovations to provide a rooftop air conditioning system and an enlarged common room and kitchen area where 65 tenants can congregate and socialize. At Valley View apartments another Kiwanis project provided a playground for approximately 40 families living in the complex. A community meeting room is in the planning stages for this housing complex as well.
