Kiwanis Club of Kitchener-Waterloo
Kiwanis is a registered charity (13278 4745 RR 0001) that raises funds to support people in need in our community.
Our March 2026 Celtic Cabaret at the Jazz Room was a BIG Success, with the help of our Gold Sponsor Harbour Concepts!! Attendees were treated to a fun evening of Irish dance, music, and comedy commandeered by the incomparable master of ceremonies Alan Chalmers. Proceeds supported Food4Kids in Kitchener-Waterloo.
The K-W Kiwanis Club is a group of citizens who serve the Waterloo region by raising funds to support imaginative community projects such as the annual Kiwanis Music Festival, affordable housing and winter clothing, scholarships and bursaries for musicians and college-bound students, even new hospitals. In March 2025 we raised over $1 million for a new hospital to advance healthcare in the Waterloo Region (See below).
Join us! Volunteer to be involved with the Kiwanis Music Festival (follow this link!). We get together at regular meetings to socialize and plan. Prospective members are welcome to attend Board and regular club meetings. Become a regular volunteer with us. Make new friends. Improve your community. Once a month we hold a meeting with dinner and invite expert guest speakers to discuss a wide range of topics that give us insight and inspiration to carry over into our activities and projects. Board meetings are currently held at 5:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month at the Westmount Golf Club in Waterloo. Our dinner meetings begin at 5:30 pm on the third Tuesday of each month. We are devoted to serving the children and disadvantaged individuals in our local community, across the country, and even internationally through unique and innovative service projects and fundraising initiatives.
