Regular meetings of the K-W Kiwanis Club are held on the third Tuesday of every month. Members, guests, and the general public are welcome to attend. These meetings provide for transaction of business and we socialize, have dinner (available for a fee) and enjoy an outside speaker. Location is Westmount Golf & Country Club, 50 Inverness Dr. Kitchener. This month we shall host a celebration of nature. Our speaker is Peter Rasberry (Outdoor Photography by Peter Rasberry http://peterrasberry.zenfolio.com )
This photographic presentation celebrates the beauty, complexity and diversity of the many species we share the planet with here in southern Ontario. Peter Rasberry had a 38 year career in Outdoor and Environmental Education. As a hobby photographer he is excited to share his deep connection to Nature through some of his images and experiences. Peter’s photographs have appeared in the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s Canadian Wildlife, and children’s Wild magazines. They have also been on exhibit at Environment and Climate Change Canada's Biosphere Museum in Montreal for the United Nations International Year of Biodiversity.

Eastern Canada & Caribbean Kiwanis convention begins in Toronto. For details see the convention website at https://ecc2026.org/. To register you will need our club number which is K00425 and your personal member number. The Convention Hotel is the Toronto Hilton. The number of rooms at the Toronto Hilton hotel is limited and will book quickly, so be sure to reserve yours early. You will be asked for the 1st night's deposit. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled arrival, the deposit will be refunded. The cut-off date for convention room booking is March 28, 2026. You can book online by clicking here.
Air travel from the Caribbean can be booked on Air Canada, West Jet, Air Transat and Porter. Most of these airlines have direct flights. Book early for the best price.
Transportation from the airport to the hotel is a little over $12 see fares here
