K-W Kiwanis Calendar

Volunteers assist K-W Gaming Centre personnel in running bingo, starting with setup around 5:15 pm and cleanup at 9:15 pm.

The Kiwanis Music Education Fundraiser has been postponed.

This fundraiser (For tickets visit Eventbrite website) is a fantastic event that supports music education in our community by providing kids in need with music lessons and instruments. The headliner for this event will be Fiddle Jam with Shane Guse and musical guests. 
Shane Guse has over 30 years of experience in the music industry and is known as a top call player on stage and in the studio. He is an 8x Canadian Country Music Association musician award winner, was inducted into the CCMA Musicians Hall of Honour in 2017 and was the inaugural recipient of the Country Music Association of Ontario’s Musician of the Year in 2024. He is the founding member and leader of the Canadian roots group, The Western Swing Authority.  Join in on the Wine Pull and Silent Auction. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets are $35 general admission/ $20 for students. All proceeds go to the Kiwanis Music Education Fund, providing bursaries for music lessons to families experiencing financial need.

This month the regular club meeting will be  a week earlier than usual and will include cocktails at 5:30 pm and a festive turkey dinner ($65/person; veg. option available) and a presentation by Dorothy McCabe, the mayor of Waterloo.
